Welcome to Lady J’s Studio! We’re excited you’re here! Our studio offers an incredible learning environment with a multiple genres of music classes available. In May of 2024, Lady J’s Studio will be offering a summer only introductory to voice program for juniors ages 12 to 17. Class are on. a weekly basis. Do you have what it takes to become the next background vocalist ? Are you interested in traveling and performing in live shows ? Are you ready to record live backing vocals ? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this workshop is for you! This workshop will consist of music education, live performing, and session singing over the course of 3 days. Singers will learn the art, history, & technique of performing as a backing vocalist. Registration will open January 1st of 2024 & is on a first come first serve basis. Ages will range from 18 to 35. Our coterie is masterful. No matter what class you register for, our facility provides singers with space for inclusive classroom instruction in the field of music, followed by live rehearsals. If you are an upcoming lead or backing vocalist but desire one on one musical direction, this set will allow you an opportunity to sing with a live band. We will focus on your individual style, stage presence, and vocal range. Skills learned here can be applied to any musical set! Pre-registration and audition required. As apart of our studio, you will have the option to participate in both live performances & winter events! All attire must be ordered and received 45 days before scheduled events. Vocalist must schedule an appointment signing all preliminary forms prior to any traveling outside of the studio.
